Josie Barber started working in the fashion industry at the age of 19 and quickly realised her passion for fashion and personal styling.
For the past five years, she has been a Lifestyle Influencer for her personal blog, By Barber, which has helped her grow into her own personal style, which she loves to describe as ‘rough luxe’.Over the years Josie has worked in retail, fashion styling and brand management.
After completing a fashion styling course at The Gordon TAFE, Josie knew styling was something she wanted to pursue as a career.
Now at 28, Josie is an experienced stylist, working with Own Kind to make Geelong women feel confident and beautiful through fashion.
15 months ago, Josie and her partner Luke welcomed Flynn, their beautiful little boy. Since becoming a mum, Josie says her style has evolved, but not changed. She's all about practical yet fashionable items that will take her from day care drop off to lunch with the girls.
